The President of Ibn Sina University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abbas Naji Al-Sharifi, received in his office on Monday morning, 1/8/2024, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Education and Tourism Affairs, Dr. Qahtan Al-Jubouri. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance and encourage specialized scientific research and studies related to the renaissance of science and its development, keeping pace with developed countries in order to benefit from it and its role in the mechanisms of work in state institutions. The President of the University welcomed the Advisor to the Prime Minister, stressing the full support the Presidency of the University offers to its students as well as the continuous endeavors to provide them with the appropriate university environment in all aspects. For his part, the Advisor to the Prime Minister praised the role of the university as one of the specialized medical universities and its significant contribution to the development of the scientific, educational, and academic career in Iraq through the sober scientific research of its teaching staff and students that serve our dear country.
