Under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the International Academy of Leadership and under the patronage of the President of Ibn Sina University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abbas Naji Al-Sharifi, Ibn Sina University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences won first place in the qualifiers of Baghdad Governorate, which was held at the University of Baghdad after its victory over Al-Farahidi University, Al-Nahrain University, and Baghdad University, which enabled it to qualify for the finals of the World Universities Debating Championship with the participation of a number of students and teachers. The jury praised the outstanding efforts presented by the participants during the debate, which expressed a distinguished level of university students in dialogue, discussion, and expression of opinion.
